    I respect him for doing that - it's so easy to get tempted by big bucks and try to look cool out in Hollywood. He knows he's the hottest property in bollywood, so why bother trying something else?     'tis a good point doods - it's part and parcel of the image too - can't for example see someone not smoking in a Tarantino movie! Some things are just cool left without people babbling about influences - it's an artists' license after all.

    I dunno, I agree with the no advertising for smoking and of course there are problems with youngsters being influenced, but banning smoking on screen? I am on Khan's side for this one, the notion that film and television influences kids is an ongoing argument and once you take the view that it is an unavoidable and overriding fact, you have to start taking every 'bad' thing off the screen. And where would that leave us?!

    • We were there last night - at the South Asian Super Model Awards Launch party. It was a really fun night, and we've started developing the second side of the chutney - called mychutney.com (nothing there yet!). This will be like myspace, and give models, musicians, and any kind of artist a space to promote themselves! Watch this space while we iron out things. We will also actively help people get noticed, get paid gigs, and so on - so it will be better than myspace ;-)
